IGD-TP starts its European-wide joint deployment of research, development, and demonstration activities for deep geological disposal of high-level and other long-lived radioactive wastes.

The Czech Technical University, Prague and RAWRA are working together to launch the Josef Visitor Centre project
On 30 June 2010 the Czech Technical University in Prague (ČVUT) submitted to the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports an application for support for its Josef Visitor Centre project which will be developed under the Ministry’s Research and Development for Innovation operational programme. RAWRA is involved as the project partner.
